QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Saturday, Israel targeted sites south of the Syrian coastal governorate of Tartus, wounding two civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The State-run News Agency SANA cited a military source as saying, \u201cAt about 06:30 am on Saturday morning, Israeli aggression launched several airstrikes from above the Mediterranean Sea west of Tripoli, hitting poultries on the outskirts of the town of al- Hamidiyah south of Tartus. As a result two civilians, including a woman, were injured, and material losses were reported.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, Israel has not commented on the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 10, Israel targeted Damascus International Airport, causing heavy damages<\/a> to the airstrips, navigational lights and a hall inside the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel announced that the airstrike thwarted some 70%<\/a> of missiles\u2019 smuggling from Iran to both Lebanon and Syria, according to Israeli reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel has carried out hundreds of airstrikes inside Syria over the past few years targeting what it says Iranian-backed militia\u2019s strongholds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
