{"id":76874,"date":"2022-04-28T09:25:21","date_gmt":"2022-04-28T09:25:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=76874"},"modified":"2022-04-28T10:59:44","modified_gmt":"2022-04-28T10:59:44","slug":"isis-kills-injures-aanes-employees-in-syrias-deir-ez-zor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/76874\/","title":{"rendered":"ISIS kills, injures AANES employees in Syria\u2019s Deir ez-Zor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press)<\/strong> <strong>\u2013<\/strong> Sleeper cells of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) killed Wednesday seven employees of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) in Deir ez-Zor countryside eastern Syria.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The attack was described to be the most violent since ISIS has announced \u201cretaliation invasion\u201d operation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A military source in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor told North Press that eight gunmen driving a vehicle and two motorcycles stormed the house of Nouri al-Hamish, head of the general relations office of the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His house is located on Fenejin village in Abu Khashab town, northern Deir ez-Zor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seven employees of the AANES, including al-Hamish, were killed and four others were wounded. All the victims were inside the house to have the <em>iftar<\/em>, evening meal of the holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hours later, ISIS\u2019 Amaq News Agency released a statement saying that ISIS members launched an attack that targeted the house of the mukhtar. Ten people were killed and others were injured. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The injured were taken to a hospital in Raqqa city. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Internal Security Forces of the AANES (Asayish) encircled the town and imposed a total curfew in order to chase the attackers. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The people demanded the SDF to tighten the security and intensify the patrols, the source said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since ISIS announced the \u201cretaliation invasion\u201d operation on April 18, for avenging the assassination of the organization\u2019s mastermind and its spokesperson, ISIS has adopted 16 killing incidents against military personnel and residents of Deir ez-Zor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Omar Aburrahman&nbsp;
