Internal Trade and Consumer protection of the Syrian government started taking some procedures to ensure food commodities in Syria, after the war erupted in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRussian-Ukrainian crisis is going to affect cargo and remittance from Russia,\u201d said Amr Salem, Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have taken action to facilitate importing from other sources, and we have reduced taking advances from importers to accelerate import, and finance and food ensuring has been prioritized,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cUkrainian war news caused panic in Syrian markets, where some traders raised prices and stored materials,\u201d Salem noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He revealed about the availability of wheat and continued daily access of it to Syria, saying, \u201cThere are no lack of food, particularly wheat, sugar and rice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier, the Syrian government decided to <a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/73405\/\">cut down the general spending<\/a> in an attempt to limit the impacts of the Ukrainian crisis on the Syrian economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government decided to ration the general spending in a way to cover \u201conly\u201d the priorities in this period fearful that prices of fuel and wheat will hike significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3
