DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press)<\/strong> – Several points of the Syrian government forces south of Damascus were subjected yesterday to an Israeli missile attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian state news agency SANA <\/em>stated the Israeli forces targeted a number of points in the vicinity of Zakiya town south of Damascus with several missiles causing material damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At about 11:35 PM, Israel targeted some points in the vicinity of Zakiya town with a number of ground-to-ground missiles fired from the southwest Syria\u2019s Golan, SANA cited a military source as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 9<\/a>, Israel targeted early military sites in the vicinity of Damascus, one soldier was killed and five were wounded, in addition to material losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel periodically targets Iran-backed military militias in Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights during 2021, counted 39 Israeli airstrikes targeted Iran-backed militias in Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
