HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said, Tuesday, the recent assault of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) and its supporters on al-Sina’a prison in Hasakah, northeast Syria, was a message to the US-led Global Coalition and international community, as it called for international assistance to defeat this radical organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This came in a press conference held by the AANES in Hasakah city with the presence of high ranking officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The issue of ISIS members and their families in northeast Syria is “dangerous and complicated” and its responsibility also rests with the international community since the AANES cannot bear it alone, the statement read. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement called the international community and Global Coalition to move to \u201ca new stage and work with the AANES and its security forces to prevent the repetition of such attacks and guarantee the sustained defeat of terrorism.\u201d   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack launched in tandem with actions and statements by Turkey, Syrian government and Syrian opposition \u201cas attempts to hit the AANES and sow discord among the communities of the region,\u201d the statement noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AANES specified seven terms to enable it of eliminating “terrorism” with the participation of the international community and US-led Global Coalition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it demanded an increase of the military support provided to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) and the security apparatuses and provide necessary supplies and techniques to face ISIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It stressed the necessity of “establishing an international court or a court of an international character in northeast Syria to judge the criminals.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AANES appealed to those countries whose nationals are in northeast Syria to bear responsibility for and repatriate them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also called for supporting northeast Syria economically and rule it out from Caesar Act to improve service, education and health sectors in order to foil any ISIS attempts to exploit those in recruiting its sleeper cells.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And provide the AANES with proper support to build rehabilitation centers for children and improve the humanitarian and security situation inside the camps and detentions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, it called for increasing the humanitarian and relief assistances in addition to reconsidering the decision of closing al-Ya\u2019rubiyah\/Tel Kocher border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, accusing the Syrian government of curbing aid access from reaching the AANES-held areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It concluded by stressing the necessity of politically supporting stabilization in areas run by the AANES, pressure Turkey to withdraw from areas it seized near the border, and stop its aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
