{"id":70880,"date":"2022-01-17T14:29:38","date_gmt":"2022-01-17T14:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=70880"},"modified":"2022-01-17T14:29:46","modified_gmt":"2022-01-17T14:29:46","slug":"casualties-in-uae-fuel-tankers-explosion-houthi-claimed-drone-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/70880\/","title":{"rendered":"Casualties in UAE fuel tankers explosion, Houthi-claimed drone attack"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria&nbsp; (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> The UAE police said, on Monday, three oil tankers exploded in Abu Dhabi, killing three people, while the Houthi spokesman talked about a military operation &#8220;deep in the UAE&#8221; and would announce details in coming hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday morning, a fire broke out in the industrial Musaffah area when three fuel tankers exploded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The official news agency in the Emirates <em>WAM<\/em> said there was no significant damage reported in the Monday incident, while the Emirati police reported dead and wounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parts of a small plane that could possibly be a drone at both sites that could have caused the explosion and the fire, Abu Dhabi police said in a statement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three people were killed and six wounded, those who were killed were two Indians and a Pakistani, WAM reported.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Houthis movement in Yemen, which is battling a Saudi-led coalition that includes the UAE, quickly claimed the attack, as their spokesman announced that the militants plan to announce a \u201cqualitative military operation in the UAE in the coming hours\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Houthi&#8217;s military spokesman, Yahya Saree, twitted on his account&nbsp; that the group launched a military operation deep in the UAE and the details would be announced in coming hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few days ago, the Houthis announced that they would escalate their operations against the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two days ago, the Houthis rejected the UN Security Council&#8217;s call to release the UAE flagged ship Rawabi, as they seized it off the Yemen coast in early January, stressing that it was loaded with weapons, while UAE confirmed that it was carrying humane aid.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Agencies &nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three tankers exploded near Abu Dhabi airport in the #UAE, #Houthi claimed responsibility<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":70881,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[8],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-70880","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-middle-east"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
