{"id":70691,"date":"2022-01-12T21:02:29","date_gmt":"2022-01-12T21:02:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=70691"},"modified":"2022-01-12T21:02:35","modified_gmt":"2022-01-12T21:02:35","slug":"drinking-water-project-to-be-completed-in-syrias-hasakah-countryside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/70691\/","title":{"rendered":"Drinking water project to be completed in Syria\u2019s Hasakah countryside"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SHADDADI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Wednesday, the Hasakah Water Directorate of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) held a meeting with Shaddadi Civil Council, south of Hasakah, to discuss the project of rehabilitating Shaddadi water station in order to cover the residents\u2019 water needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rehabilitating Shaddadi water station is being done currently and within thirty days it will be ready for use, North Press reported Othman Kaddo, the supervisor of maintenance work at Shaddadi water station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by many members of the civil institutions in Shaddadi and the communes in addition to members of the Water Directorate and engineers supervising the maintenance work of the station.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since November last year, the Water Directorate has started working on rehabilitating Shaddadi water station, and the project is scheduled to be completed next February.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is reported that the water station will be supplied by the Euphrates Water Project from Deir ez-Zor to Hasakah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In January 2021, the Autonomous Administration began working on a project to draw Euphrates water from the countryside of Deir ez-Zor to Hasakah, with the support of the local Euphrates Organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project, which cost about one and a half million dollars, was completed, according to a previous statement by the Local Administration and Environment Board in the Jazira region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The Euphrates water has actually reached the tanks of the Aziziyah Water Station after about nine months of work on the project to bring the Euphrates water to Hasakah.
