MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Monday, the Child Protection Office in Armed Conflicts in the city of Manbij, north Syria, condemned the Turkish bombing of the city of Kobani in particular and all areas of northeast Syria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 8, nine areas in the Kobani region and its countryside hit with Turkish bombardment, which resulted in the loss of a civilian’s life and the injury of 11 others, in addition to great material damage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We, as the Child Protection Office, call on the humanitarian organizations which work in the field of human rights to document and archive these crimes so that the perpetrators can be held accountable before the just courts,\u201d Omar Sa\u2019eed, co-chair of Child Protection Office in Manbij said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We also appeal and demand the Russian and American guarantors to fulfill their humanitarian and moral roles to pressure Turkey to commit to the ceasefire agreement,” Sa\u2019eed added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turkey signed with both the Russian and American sides two ceasefire agreements following its invasion of the cities of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and Tel Abyad in October 2019, but it often violates the agreements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
