{"id":69360,"date":"2021-12-16T19:49:55","date_gmt":"2021-12-16T19:49:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=69360"},"modified":"2021-12-16T19:50:01","modified_gmt":"2021-12-16T19:50:01","slug":"iranian-backed-militias-kill-civilian-in-syrias-deir-ez-zor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/69360\/","title":{"rendered":"Iranian-backed militias kill civilian in Syria&#8217;s Deir ez-Zor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Thursday, a civilian was killed at the hands of members of the Iranian-backed militias in a town east of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The young man Ahmad al-Madad, 27, was killed by the Hashemiyoun faction when he tried to get close to its military point,&#8221; a local source from al-Jala&#8217; town, 100 km east of Deir ez-Zor, said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Al-Madad was heading to the bank of the river to operate the water pump to irrigate his land, which is 200m away from the military point,&#8221; the source added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the eruption of the war in Syria in 2011, Iran has officially announced its support to the Syrian government and sent its militias to support the government forces in their war against factions of the Syrian opposition.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iran supported and formed military factions, which are working to fulfill Iran\u2019s ambition in Syria, the most prominent of these factions are National Defense Forces (NDF), Liwa Fatemiyoun, Hashemiyoun and Liwa Zainebiyoun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Omar Abdurrahman<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>#Iran&#8217;s militias killed a civilian while working in his land in the eastern countryside of #Deir_ez_Zor, east #Syria. @cmoc_sdf @OIRSpox #ISIS <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":69361,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[7,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-69360","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-military-developments","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
