QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Monday, the Social Affairs and Labor Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) opened a center for the disable children in the city of Qamishli.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Martyr Erish Center is the first center in the Jazira Region to receive the disable children aged between 11 and 18 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe center receives children with speech therapists,  Down Syndrome, autism, intellectual and learning disabilities,\u201d head of the center, Jaylan Ahmad, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staff that take care of the disable children at the center \u201cis specialized in the field of psychology and psychology counseling.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were subjected to training courses in this field particularly in autism,\u201d Ahmad added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the available capabilities, the center can receive 40 children, while the number of registered ones is 30, according to Ahmad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partners International for Relief and Development has offered support and equipment to the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere is a current coordination between our center and Pel Organization regarding providing support to the center,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March, the Social Affairs and Labor Board opened Martyr Rangin Center in the city of Hasakah that receives the disable children aged between 3 and 11 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
