QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>In his meeting with the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, on Sunday, the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Faisal Mekdad, stressed the importance of avoiding any outside interference in the work of the Constitutional Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mekdad stressed the importance of avoiding any external interference in the work of the Constitutional Committee, and the need for the dialogue to be an intra-Syrian and reflects the aspirations of the Syrians and not serve the agendas of countries hostile to Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meeting, Mekdad noted to “the destructive role of the Turkish regime, and its aggressive and inhumane practices through not commitment to the results of Astana talks, as well as the Turkification policies in the areas it occupies, and cutting off water supplies to people in Hasakah which constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Turkish regime\u2019s practices are part of the continued support of the terrorist groups and its desperate attempts to obstacle the stability in Syria,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
