{"id":68947,"date":"2021-12-09T16:08:54","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T16:08:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=68947"},"modified":"2021-12-09T16:09:00","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T16:09:00","slug":"turkey-builds-up-attacks-on-syrias-aleppo-countryside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/68947\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkey builds up attacks on Syria&#8217;s Aleppo countryside"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> In the early morning of Thursday, Turkish forces and their affiliated Syrian armed opposition factions fired the outskirts of the al-Bab city in Aleppo eastern countryside, northern Syria, with scores of shells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Manbij Military Council reported that approximately 30 mortar shells targeted the villages of al-Boweihej, Qurt Weran, al-Hamra and Mazra&#8217;at al-Fawaraes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Towns and villages in northern Syria are under frequent attacks by Turkish forces and their affiliated armed factions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The shelling directed from the two Turkish bases east of al-Bab region namely Sheikh Naser and Shweiha,&#8221; Manbij Military Council posted on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No more details were revealed concerning the shelling or loses they caused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last week, the Turkish forces bombarded the village of al-Bughaz in the eastern countryside of al-Bab with heavy ammunitions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Saddam al-Hassan<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>#Aleppo eastern countryside witnessed heavy shelling by Turkish forces and affiliated armed factions. #Turkey #SNA #SDF #Syria  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":68948,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[7,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-68947","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-military-developments","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
