{"id":68486,"date":"2021-11-30T14:54:54","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T14:54:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=68486"},"modified":"2021-11-30T14:55:13","modified_gmt":"2021-11-30T14:55:13","slug":"isis-suspect-arrested-in-syrias-deir-ez-zor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/68486\/","title":{"rendered":"ISIS suspect arrested in Syria\u2019s Deir ez-Zor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deir ez-Zor, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Tuesday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with the participation of the US-led Global Coalition, arrested a person accused of belonging to the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) in a town east of Deir ez-Zor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A military source of the SDF in the city of Hajin, 110 km east of Deir ez-Zor, said the forces arrested a former member of ISIS, through an airdrop, with the participation of Coalition.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The member refused to surrender, and the arrest took place in the al-Hassaniya neighborhood, western Hajin, after a four-hour pursuit, the source added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The military source pointed out that the suspect returned from Turkey three months ago to carry out terrorist operations for the benefit of ISIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On November 23, the SDF Special Units <a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/68182\/\">arrested a man<\/a> who sent fund to ISIS in al-Busayrah town, east of Deir ez-Zor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, the countryside of Deir ez-Zor has been witnessing cases of kidnapping and assassination of members of the SDF, employees of the Autonomous Administration, tribal dignitaries and civilians for unknown reasons.
