{"id":68006,"date":"2021-11-20T19:39:38","date_gmt":"2021-11-20T19:39:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=68006"},"modified":"2021-11-20T19:40:22","modified_gmt":"2021-11-20T19:40:22","slug":"us-continues-supporting-allies-in-iraq-and-syria-us-defense-secretary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/68006\/","title":{"rendered":"US continues supporting allies in Iraq and Syria: US Defense Secretary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ERBIL, KRG, Iraq (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Saturday, Lloyd Austin, US Secretary of Defense voiced concern over Iran&#8217;s activity which destabilizes the region and stressed that the US will keep on supporting allies in Syria and Iraq to combat the Islamic State (ISIS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the Manama Dialogue in Bahrain, which is a platform convened yesterday, Austin said, &#8220;Biden&#8217;s administration is committed to Iraq&#8217;s sovereignty against any threatening party.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The US will keep on supporting its allies in Iraq and Syria to combat ISIS&#8221;, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Austin called to collaborate to fight terrorism in Afghanistan being al-Qaeda or ISIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Countries of the Middle East face Iranian drones almost every day and confronting Iran&#8217;s threat is one of US top priorities.
