{"id":67935,"date":"2021-11-19T20:15:54","date_gmt":"2021-11-19T20:15:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=67935"},"modified":"2021-11-19T20:19:42","modified_gmt":"2021-11-19T20:19:42","slug":"turkish-forces-target-tel-rifaat-in-syrias-aleppo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/67935\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkish forces target Tel Rifaat in Syria&#8217;s Aleppo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) &#8211; <\/strong>On Friday evening, the Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed Syrian opposition factions bombed the town of Tel Rifaat, north of Aleppo, with rockets and missiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An exclusive source told North Press that the opposition factions targeted the vicinity of Tel Rifaat town with missiles and shells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source added that the bombing is still going on, without any news of the extent of the damage caused by the bombing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hours before, a Turkish hall near Vilat Street in the city of Afrin in the northern countryside of Aleppo was subjected to <a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/67922\/\">missile attacks<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The town of Tel Rifaat, which embraces a part of IDPs of Afrin, has been threatened with invasion by Turkey and its loyal factions since residents of Afrin fled their areas and headed towards the northern countryside of Aleppo amidst the successive shelling that the town is witnessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Syrian government forces accompanied by Russian forces are running the town of Tel Rifaat and its vicinities, where their posts have been deployed since 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Muhammad al-Qadi<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Turkish forces and affiliated armed factions shelled #Tel_Rifaat town in #Aleppo northern countryside, north #Syria. #SNA #Turkey #Russia #Afrin  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":67936,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[39,7,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-67935","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-home","category-military-developments","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
