{"id":67406,"date":"2021-11-09T19:05:20","date_gmt":"2021-11-09T19:05:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=67406"},"modified":"2021-11-09T19:05:37","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T19:05:37","slug":"uae-senior-diplomat-visits-syria-after-a-decade-of-war","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/67406\/","title":{"rendered":"UAE senior diplomat visits Syria after a decade of war"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Tuesday, Syrian President Bashar Assad received the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin&nbsp;<em>Zayed<\/em>&nbsp;al-Nahyan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sheikh Abdullah bin&nbsp;<em>Zayed<\/em>&nbsp;al-Nahyan is the most senior Emirati dignitary to visit Syria in the decade since the eruption of the Syrian civil war.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between Syria and the UAE, and the development of bilateral cooperation in various fields of common interest, according to Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic&#8217;s Facebook account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two parties discussed intensifying efforts to explore new horizons for this cooperation, especially in vital sectors in order to strengthen investment partnerships in these sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They discussed ways to boost joint investments in vital sectors.
