{"id":66805,"date":"2021-10-26T19:34:24","date_gmt":"2021-10-26T19:34:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=66805"},"modified":"2021-10-26T19:34:27","modified_gmt":"2021-10-26T19:34:27","slug":"turkish-backed-factions-member-kills-tribal-figure-in-north-syria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/66805\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkish-backed faction&#8217;s member kills tribal figure in north Syria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Tuesday evening, a member of the Shammar Tribe Council, Abu Basel al-Shammari, was deadly shot by the brother of the leader of the Turkish-backed al-Hamza Division, in the Bezza&#8217;a area, east of Aleppo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The killer of al-Shammari is Qusay Bolad, brother of Saif Abu Bakr, commander of al-Hamza Division, an informed source told North Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident occurred as a result of al-Shammari&#8217;s demand to close the smuggling routes in al-Sukariya area, adjacent to the areas controlled by the Syrian government forces, east of Aleppo, the source explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victim was directly shot by the killer, which instantly killed him, according to the source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Hamza Division controls al-Bab area and its environs, in addition to controlling the smuggling crossings with the government forces in al- Sukariya area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2017, al-Bab city has been under the control of the Turkish-backed armed Syrian factions following Operation Euphrates Shield, which was led by Turkey and Turkish-backed armed factions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Areas occupied by the Turkish-backed armed factions have been witnessing security chaos accompanied by frequent explosions, in addition to cases of abductions and corruption amid the failure of these factions to maintain security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Farouq Hamo<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tribal notable killed by member of Turkish-backed armed faction in #Syria&#8217;s #Aleppo countryside. #Turkey #SNA  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":66806,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[7,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-66805","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-military-developments","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
