{"id":66606,"date":"2021-10-23T10:21:13","date_gmt":"2021-10-23T10:21:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=66606"},"modified":"2021-10-23T10:21:14","modified_gmt":"2021-10-23T10:21:14","slug":"russia-agrees-to-israeli-army-act-in-syria-israeli-military-analysts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/66606\/","title":{"rendered":"Russia agrees to Israeli army act in Syria: Israeli military analysts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Friday, Israeli military analysts on both Channel 12 and 13 said that during the meeting that brought together Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, they agreed to Israel maintaining its freedom of action in Syria, but had asked for additional advanced warning of strikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, there was no confirmation from the Kremlin or Russian comment following the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe two countries continued to work at avoiding conflict over Syria,\u201d Israeli Housing and Construction Minister Zeev Elkin who acted as an interpreter for Bennett during his talks with Putin, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt was decided to keep policies vis-\u00e0-vis Russia in place (regarding airstrikes in Syrian territory.)\u201d The Times of Israel cited Elkin as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both countries established a military hotline to coordinate air force operations over Syria to avoid clashes.
