{"id":65626,"date":"2021-10-05T17:43:17","date_gmt":"2021-10-05T17:43:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=65626"},"modified":"2021-10-05T17:43:18","modified_gmt":"2021-10-05T17:43:18","slug":"government-forces-arrest-young-men-in-syrias-daraa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/65626\/","title":{"rendered":"Government forces arrest young men in Syria&#8217;s Daraa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DARAA, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Tuesday, a military patrol of the Syrian government forces arrested two young men in the town of Nawa, in the western countryside of Daraa, south Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The military patrol, which consisted of several vehicles with soldiers holding machine guns, raided a house and arrested the two young men, Ahmad al-Safadi and Abdu al-Jahmani, a local source from the town told North Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two young men, who previously worked within the ranks of the opposition factions, obtained a settlement card after the government forces took control over Nawa town in July 2018, the source said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source added that the two young men returned to the civil work after the government restored control over the town, &#8220;as they did not join any military faction.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Days ago, an agreement was reached in the town of Nawa between the residents and the government forces, as dozens of young men had their conditions settled, houses were searched, and a number of weapons was handed over according to the agreement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Mo&#8217;ayed al-Ashqar \u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Despite settlement processes, the government forces arrested two civilians in #Daraa governorate, southern #Syria.   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":65627,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[7,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-65626","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-military-developments","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
