{"id":64863,"date":"2021-09-16T19:50:07","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T19:50:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=64863"},"modified":"2021-09-16T19:50:07","modified_gmt":"2021-09-16T19:50:07","slug":"settlement-agreement-in-syrias-western-countryside-of-daraa-signed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/64863\/","title":{"rendered":"Settlement agreement in Syria\u2019s western countryside of Daraa signed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DARAA, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Thursday, tribal notables and the Central Committee reached a settlement agreement with the security committee of the government forces under the auspices of Russia on the town of Tafas in the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSimilar to previous agreements, this agreement requires the entry of the government forces, accompanied by the Russian Military Police, and the establishment of several checkpoints in the town,\u201d a source close to the Central Committee told North Press. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThree military points will be placed in the town and a searching campaign will be launched in the neighborhoods,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement also provides the settlement of the status of a number of wanted residents of the town and the handing over of their light weapons, according to the same source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source indicated that the agreement is scheduled to be implemented on September 18, after the entry of members of the Russian forces and the security committee of the government forces to the town of Tafas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This month, similar agreements were signed in Daraa al-Balad, al-Yadoudah, and al-Muzairib towns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 12, the Central Committee in the western countryside of Daraa and the security committee of the government forces reached an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/64687\/\">agreement<\/a>&nbsp;sponsored by Russia for the entry of the government forces to al-Yadouda town and the settlement of dozens of the wanted people.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Ihsan Muhammad<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Settlement agreements in the countryside of #Daraa, southern #Syria, are going on under #Russia\u2019s auspices. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":64864,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[39,7,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-64863","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-home","category-military-developments","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
