{"id":64527,"date":"2021-09-08T12:32:32","date_gmt":"2021-09-08T12:32:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=64527"},"modified":"2021-09-08T12:32:33","modified_gmt":"2021-09-08T12:32:33","slug":"syrias-daraa-implements-second-term-of-settlement-under-russian-supervision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/64527\/","title":{"rendered":"Syria\u2019s Daraa implements second term of settlement under Russian supervision"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DARAA, Syria (North Press) <\/strong>&#8211; On Wednesday, the government forces members and their security services began to enter the besieged neighborhoods in Syria\u2019s Daraa according to the agreement reached by the negotiating parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 5, a number of Daraa\u2019s notables and government forces, in the presence of a number of Russian officers, reached a ceasefire agreement which stipulated the handover of weapons and deployment of government security points in the neighborhoods which were besieged during the last two months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the notables of Daraa Governorate told North Press that government forces entered the neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad, Tariq al-Sad, and the camps, accompanied by Russian military police and a number of notables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the completion of security sweeps and searches of some houses, government forces will set up nine military checkpoints in Daraa al-Balad, the Tariq al-Sad neighborhood, and the camps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He pointed out that the security committee of the government forces divided the neighborhoods into three sectors, with the civil police and military security entering Daraa al-Balad, State and Political Security entering Tariq al-Sad neighborhood, and Air Force Intelligence passing to the camp neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A local source in Daraa al-Balad told North Press that the government forces raised the Syrian flag over the tower of the post office in Daraa al-Balad for the first time since July 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Military Security branch in Daraa released the wife and sons of Mo\u2019ayad Harfoush a.k.a.
