{"id":64227,"date":"2021-08-30T15:27:49","date_gmt":"2021-08-30T15:27:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=64227"},"modified":"2021-08-30T15:27:49","modified_gmt":"2021-08-30T15:27:49","slug":"turkish-military-bombs-syrias-raqqa-countryside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/64227\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkish military bombs Syria\u2019s Raqqa countryside"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Monday, the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions targeted the western countryside of Ain Issa and the M4 Highway, north of Raqqa, northern Syria, with DShKs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The targeting affected the villages of Khalediya, Hoshan, Ma\u2019lek and Ain Issa camp that are located between Ain Issa town and Jalabiya village, in addition to cars on the M4 Highway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDozens of shells fell on these villages which are only few kilometers away from the town center,\u201d residents said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sources noted to the suspension of traffic movement on the M4 Highway, without details of the damage caused by the targeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe source of the bombing was two Turkish military bases in the villages of Sayda and Ma\u2019alleq, west of Ain Issa,\u201d a military source told North Press. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On August 4, four civilians killed and two others were wounded, <a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/63076\/\">all from one family<\/a>, due to a Turkish bombardment on the civilians houses in the village of Safawi, east of Ain Issa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Turkish armed forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions have regularly bombed and attempted to infiltrate Ain Issa and its surroundings since last year.
