{"id":64181,"date":"2021-08-29T17:24:10","date_gmt":"2021-08-29T17:24:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=64181"},"modified":"2021-08-29T17:24:11","modified_gmt":"2021-08-29T17:24:11","slug":"iranian-factions-sow-enmity-to-increase-penetration-of-syria-aanes-official","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/64181\/","title":{"rendered":"Iranian factions sow enmity to increase penetration of Syria: AANES official"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Sunday, an official of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said that pro-Iranian factions in Deir ez-Zor and other Syrian regions are working to create a rift and sow enmity among Syrians to increase Tehran\u2019s penetration in Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of the Syrian members of pro-Iranian factions hail from the towns of al-Marayyah, al-Sayyad, al-Suway\u2019iyah, Abu Kamal, and others in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Iranians\u2019 attempts to destroy the social fabric in Abu Kamal are very dangerous, and led to the displacement of civilians from those areas,\u201d co-chair of the eastern region of the countryside of Deir ez-Zor Muhammad al-Omeiri said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those factions exploit the hard living conditions of people to recruit them in their ranks, which prompted the families to flee to the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) \u201cto avoid the militias\u2019 revenge, which sometimes amounts to killing,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iranian-backed factions try to attract children who work to help their families by offering them monthly food aid in order to recruit them to military structures in the future, according to residents of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The factions began to seize a number of residents\u2019 houses and turned them to headquarters after expelling some families, and \u201ceven the mosques have not escaped this policy,\u201d al-Omeiri explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He believes that any future political settlement will be useless \u201cif the Iranians succeed in changing the social fabric, and there is no real solution in Syria as long as there is an Iranian presence on its soil.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Anwar al-Midan<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An official of the Autonomous Administration of North and East #Syria (#AANES) said that pro-Iranian factions in Deir ez-Zor and other Syrian regions are working to sow enmity among Syrians to increase Tehran\u2019s penetration in Syria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":64182,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[39,3,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-64181","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-home","category-politics","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
