QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Monday, the parties of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) described the situation in Daraa, south Syria, as the critical juncture. They also described the practices of the government forces there as \u201cextremely barbaric\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe regime\u2019s practices spread out the smell of hunger, death and the phenomenon of the green buses to displace the Syrians from their homes. By these practices, Syria has begun to lose its features as one state and one people,\u201d the statement on behalf of the SDC parties, which was read today in Qamishli, northeast Syria, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDaraa is witnessing a critical juncture by being besieged and bombarded to kneel its citizens who refuse to leave their lands and homes, and refuse to be submissive and become a puppet in the hands of the parties who have turned the Syrian issue into bazaars and deals,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement pointed out that the people of Daraa did not leave their fate to any state in order to impose its orientations on them according to its interests, goals and projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe statement came in solidarity from the political parties in northeast Syria with the residents of Daraa, who resist the siege and bombardment,\u201d Ibrahim al-Thallaj, member of the Democratic Modernity Party in Syria, told North Press. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement described the \u201cregime\u2019s\u201d settlements as \u201cpatches\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe resistance of the Syrians in Daraa is a rejection of the military deal and the patches\u2019 solutions of both the regime and the Russian mediator,\u201d it stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SDC parties called on the actors in the Syrian issue and all advocates of freedom and justice in the world to work effectively to spare the blood of the Syrians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The parties participating in the statement considered that the model of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria could become an example of a solution in Syria, and that it would allow the restoration of Syrian geography and the desired democratic transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
