{"id":63438,"date":"2021-08-12T15:55:19","date_gmt":"2021-08-12T15:55:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=63438"},"modified":"2021-08-12T15:55:20","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T15:55:20","slug":"unknown-gunmen-target-government-forces-point-in-syrias-daraa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/63438\/","title":{"rendered":"Unknown gunmen target government forces\u2019 point in Syria\u2019s Daraa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DARAA, Syria (North Press)<\/strong><strong> \u2013 <\/strong>On Wednesday, unknown gunmen attacked a government forces\u2019 point in the north of Daraa, south Syria.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA group of gunmen attacked the Cultural Center where the members of the Syrian State Security Branch take it as headquarters in the region of Jassem, north of Daraa,\u201d a local source said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe gunmen attacked the headquarters after midnight using the RPG shells in addition to the automatic weapons and Kalashnikovs,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the attack, the State Security Branch brought in military reinforcements which included dozens of members and four-wheel drive vehicles equipped with anti-aircraft guns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not the first time for the same headquarters to be attacked.
