{"id":63321,"date":"2021-08-09T18:59:44","date_gmt":"2021-08-09T18:59:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=63321"},"modified":"2021-08-09T18:59:44","modified_gmt":"2021-08-09T18:59:44","slug":"syrias-aanes-opens-diplomatic-office-in-switzerland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/63321\/","title":{"rendered":"Syria\u2019s AANES opens diplomatic office in Switzerland"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>North Press\/expulsive \u2013 <\/strong>On Monday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) opened a diplomatic office in the city of Geneva in Switzerland, which has become the seventh office to be opened outside Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opening ceremony was attended by government representatives, Swiss and Syrian politicians, as well as representatives of civil society organizations interested in the Syrian issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the ceremony, Badran Jia Kurd, deputy co-presidency of the AANES, thanked the Swiss government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, &#8220;and everyone who contributed to the success of the step.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe aim of the office is to develop relations with the Swiss government and people, and this office will serve as a bridge between us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that it is necessary for the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to be represented everywhere, as they sacrificed a lot to stabilize the global security by fighting ISIS for consecutive years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He described the ISIS threat as the strategic threat to the region and the world, saying: \u201cSo we need international efforts to eradicate it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photos of the martyrs of the war against ISIS and other landmarks of northeast Syria were hung on the wall of the office. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the representative of the Autonomous Administration in Switzerland, Hikmat Ibrahim, said: \u201cThe current circumstances are exceptional.
