AANES officials reveal details of meeting with French President"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North press) &#8211; <\/strong>On Tuesday, a senior official in the Autonomous Administration revealed to North Press the details of the meeting of the Autonomous Administration delegation and the Syrian Democratic Council with French President Emmanuel Macron, at the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace in the capital Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday, the President Macron received a delegation of the Syrian Democratic Council, led by the president of the Executive Committee of the Syrian Democratic Council Ilham Ahmed, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration Berivan Khaled, and the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Civil Administration in Deir ez-Zor Ghassan al-Youssef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an audio statement to North Press, Berivan Khaled said that the meeting came at a French invitation to the Syrian delegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting is the second of its kind between the representatives of northeast Syria and the French presidency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Former French President Francois Hollande received Nesrin&nbsp;Abdullah, the commander&nbsp;and spokesperson for the Women\u2019s Protection Units (YPJ), and the former co-chair of the Democratic Union Party Asya Abdullah, in mid-February of 2015 at the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting touched on the political, economic, security and military situation in northeast Syria, she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khaled stated that the French president \u201cstressed his continued support for the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, especially in the economic field and the military field, to totally defeat the Islamic State (ISIS).\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She said that the meeting lasted for about 90 minutes, and was \u201cpositive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3
