{"id":61373,"date":"2021-06-24T17:06:29","date_gmt":"2021-06-24T17:06:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=61373"},"modified":"2021-06-24T17:50:31","modified_gmt":"2021-06-24T17:50:31","slug":"syrias-manbij-administration-to-amend-mandatory-service-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/61373\/","title":{"rendered":"Syria&#8217;s Manbij Administration to amend mandatory service law"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> In a joint statement, the Civil Administration of Manbij and Manbij Military Council announced on Thursday the results of their meetings with notables and tribal Sheiks in Manbij, north Syria, following the recent protests in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Series of meetings were held over past period between the Civil Administration and Military Council of Manbij from one side, and with notables and tribal Sheikhs from the other side to discuss the last protests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 31, the city of Manbij witnessed protests demanding &#8220;improving the service situation,&#8221; according to the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement pointed out that the Defense Office of the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria (AANES), &#8220;is working to amend and reformulate the law of mandatory service.&#8221; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The administration will provide basic materials including building iron, cement, fuel, cooking gas cylinders, and improve the quality of bread, within a maximum period of fifteen days.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its statement, it promised to &#8220;compensate the victims&#8217; families financially in line with the tribal customs and traditions in the region.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;A list of the approved tariffs will be published, so that the population would be aware of these fees and what they are for,\u201d according to the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of the statement, the Civil Administration called on the residents of Manbij \u201cto assume their responsibilities and be keen on the security and stability of their city.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Hoshang Hassan<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Civil Administration of #Manbij promised to compensate the victims&#8217; families financially in line with the tribal customs and traditions in the region. #Syria <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":61374,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[39,3,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-61373","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-home","category-politics","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
