{"id":60860,"date":"2021-06-14T09:46:13","date_gmt":"2021-06-14T09:46:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=60860"},"modified":"2021-06-14T09:46:14","modified_gmt":"2021-06-14T09:46:14","slug":"autonomous-administration-promises-to-pay-contractor-teachers-within-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/60860\/","title":{"rendered":"Autonomous Administration promises to pay contractor teachers within days"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) &#8211;<\/strong> &nbsp;An official in the Education Board in Syria\u2019s Autonomous Administration said on Monday that they are working to solve a four-month delay in salaries to non-employee contractors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the statistics of the Directorate of Education in Hasakah region, more than 200 teachers have not received their salaries for the second semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Muhammad Saleh Abdo, co-chair of the Education Board the Jazira region, said that the reasons for the delay are due to administrative procedures with the Education Board of North and East Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added to North Press that approval was issued to pay the contractors&#8217; salaries in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ahmed al-Khidr, an Arabic language teacher at Adnan al-Maliki Secondary School in Tel Tamr, said that he has not received his salary for four months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, al-Khider\u2019s salary was delayed for six months during the first semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delayed salaries for contractor teachers in Tel Tamr affect 13 teachers of different specializations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contract teachers say they need to receive their salaries as soon as possible, because they depend on them to support their families.
