{"id":60839,"date":"2021-06-13T18:19:44","date_gmt":"2021-06-13T18:19:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=60839"},"modified":"2021-06-13T18:19:45","modified_gmt":"2021-06-13T18:19:45","slug":"g7-concludes-with-promises-on-coronavirus-vaccines-climate-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/60839\/","title":{"rendered":"G7 concludes with promises on coronavirus vaccines, climate change"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Sunday, leaders of G7 summit in Cornwall, England, concluded their three-day meeting with promises on securing coronavirus vaccines, combating climate change and China.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, leaders of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Italy, France and Japan concluded the 47<sup>th<\/sup> G7 summit, which was held in Cornwall, England on June 11, with promises to secure 1 billion doses of coronavirus vaccine, cut greenhouse gas emissions and to counter China&#8217;s resurgence.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, demanded the G7 leaders to help in providing the needed doses to vaccinate the world by the end of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He announced that the leaders of the member states pledged to cut the CO2 emissions in half by 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The G7 leaders committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse emissions by the deadline of 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding China, the participants agreed on &#8220;continuing to consult on collective approaches to challenging non-market policies and practices which undermine the fair and transparent operation of the global economy.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We will promote our values, including by calling on China to respect human rights and fundamental freedoms,&#8221; the leaders of the seven states said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Report by Juan Shikaki<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Leaders of #G7 summit concluded with promises to secure 1 billion doses of coronavirus vaccine, cut greenhouse gas emissions and to counter China&#8217;s resurgence.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":60840,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[39,9],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-60839","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-home","category-world"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
