{"id":60619,"date":"2021-06-08T18:54:55","date_gmt":"2021-06-08T18:54:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=60619"},"modified":"2021-06-08T18:54:56","modified_gmt":"2021-06-08T18:54:56","slug":"vaccinating-residents-with-coronavirus-starts-in-syrias-raqqa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/60619\/","title":{"rendered":"Vaccinating residents with coronavirus starts in Syria\u2019s Raqqa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RAQAA, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>The population of Raqqa&#8217;s vaccination process against coronavirus is on rise, a medical official in Raqqa, northern Syria, said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday, the Health Committee of the Raqqa Civil Council started the vaccination process at the Saif al-Dawla Health Center in the city center of Raqqa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The center is witnessing a great demand from the age groups specified for vaccination, Zeina al-Hassan, co-chair of the Health Committee, told North Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the first day, the number of people got vaccinated reached 30, while today, the number exceeded 50, and the process is still continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Hassan pointed out that they managed to secure 5,200 doses of the British AstraZeneca vaccines through coordination between the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration(AANES) and the World Health Organization (WHO).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vaccination process will be of two stages by intramuscular injection in the shoulder, and people will be vaccinated for the second time after two months from the date of the first vaccination, she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health workers and those over 55 years old in addition to people suffering from chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes will benefit from this vaccine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Health committee requires the person to get vaccine to be in good health and not suffer from fever or dental, chest or digestive pain, according to the medical official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The co-chair of the Health Committee stated that other batches of the vaccine will be secured during the coming days, until the entire population of Raqqa is vaccinated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Ahmad al-Hassan\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The co-chair of the Health Committee stated that other batches of the vaccine will be secured during the coming days, until the entire population of #Raqqa is vaccinated. #AANES<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":60620,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[5,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-60619","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
