{"id":60497,"date":"2021-06-06T17:52:37","date_gmt":"2021-06-06T17:52:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=60497"},"modified":"2021-06-06T17:52:37","modified_gmt":"2021-06-06T17:52:37","slug":"syrias-manbij-tribes-discuss-demands-to-civil-administration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/60497\/","title":{"rendered":"Syria\u2019s Manbij tribes discuss demands to Civil Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) <\/strong>&#8211; On Sunday, tribes in Syria&#8217;s Manbij discussed their demands in order to submit them to the Civil Administration in Manbij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday morning, the city of Manbij witnessed protests, which activists said on social media were against mandatory service enacted by the Autonomous Administration in 2014 to be implemented later in all areas of its control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the Manbij Military Council said in a statement that &#8220;the duty of self-defense has been carried out for seven years without any problems.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The council accused parties, which it said are known for \u201cexploiting economic conditions and the difficulties that the Syrians are experiencing in order to achieve goals and agendas that serve parties want to destabilize Manbij.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the presence of clan sheikhs and notables, in addition to community workers, a meeting was held in the village of Ain al-Nakhil, northeast of Manbij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hussein al-Abbadi, the sheikh of the al-Bosultan clan, told North Press that the residents went out in protests to achieve their legitimate demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The acts of sabotage and riots that occurred during the protests are unacceptable&#8230;it is our duty to protect the youth of Manbij, and we do not want to push them into protests that lead to loss of lives,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Abbadi pointed out the formation of a small committee that brings together representatives of the tribes to prepare a list of the protesters&#8217; demands in order to submit them to the Civil Administration in Manbij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final statement of the clan mini-committee meeting will be announced on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Saddam al-Hassan<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tribes in #Syria&#8217;s #Manbij discussed their demands in order to submit them to the Civil Administration in Manbij.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":60498,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[5,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-60497","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
