{"id":59941,"date":"2021-05-27T10:41:27","date_gmt":"2021-05-27T10:41:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=59941"},"modified":"2021-05-27T10:41:28","modified_gmt":"2021-05-27T10:41:28","slug":"us-calls-on-syria-russia-to-abide-by-ceasefire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/59941\/","title":{"rendered":"US calls on Syria, Russia to abide by ceasefire"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Wednesday, the US Deputy Ambassador to the UN, Richard Mills, called on Syria and Russia to abide by the current ceasefire in Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The peaceful solution to the conflict in Syria starts with the consideration of a ceasefire in all of the country,&#8221; Mills said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We call on the al-Assad regime and Russia once again to adhere to the current ceasefire in Syria,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 30, 2015, Russia entered the frontlines in Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier, the commander of the US Central Command, Gen.
