IDLIB, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> On Tuesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 23 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 23 cases of the virus and 17 recoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It indicated that it had conducted tests for 542 suspected cases in its areas.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 22,069 including 655 deaths and 20,078 recoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday<\/a>, Syria\u2019s northwest areas recorded 13 new coronavirus infections and 46 recoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
