{"id":57671,"date":"2021-04-15T20:45:02","date_gmt":"2021-04-15T20:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=57671"},"modified":"2021-04-15T20:45:03","modified_gmt":"2021-04-15T20:45:03","slug":"minister-of-education-in-syrian-opposition-held-areas-resigns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/57671\/","title":{"rendered":"Minister of Education in Syrian opposition-held areas resigns"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IDLIB, Syria (North Press<\/strong><strong>) \u2013 <\/strong>On Thursday, the Minister of Education in the Syrian Interim Government of the Opposition Coalition, Huda al-Absi submitted her resignation, noting she will reveal the reasons in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Absi&#8217;s resignation comes days after the opposition coalition imposed a material on the Syrian revolution in the opposition-controlled areas&#8217; schools, likely to be in line with the Turkish perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement posted on her Facebook account, al-Absi said that she remained in office until she finished the projects that she had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last stage of her work was &#8220;full of difficulties, obstacles, challenges and unavailable potentials,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We will have meetings in the near future to clarify all the mysteries, difficulties and frustrations that we exposed while in office,&#8221; al-Absi noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She justified the postponement of her disclosure by saying, &#8220;We will reveal everything when we are certain that this will not affect the reputation of our institutions, our government and our blessed revolution.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, press reports revealed corruption cases affecting prominent figures in the opposition coalition, and the abuse of their positions for their personal interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The relationship between the Minister of Education and the Head of the Syrian Interim Government, Abdulrahman Mustafa, witnessed sharp differences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The differences led Mustafa to dismiss al-Absi from her post as minister, but the decision closed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a letter addressed to the coalition, al-Absi rejected the prime minister&#8217;s decision regarding her dismissal and appointing a new education board, according to press reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Bara&#8217; al-Shami<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IDLIB, Syria (North Press) \u2013 On Thursday, the Minister of Education in the Syrian Interim Government of the Opposition Coalition, Huda al-Absi submitted her resignation, noting she will reveal the reasons in the near future.
