{"id":56174,"date":"2021-03-17T20:27:12","date_gmt":"2021-03-17T20:27:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=56174"},"modified":"2021-03-17T20:27:13","modified_gmt":"2021-03-17T20:27:13","slug":"school-principals-submit-requests-for-not-completing-their-duties-syrias-suwayda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/56174\/","title":{"rendered":"School Principals submit requests for not completing their duties, Syria&#8217;s Suwayda"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SUWAYDA, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Tuesday, six schools principals submitted requests for exemption from completing their administrative duties, to the Directorate of Education in Suwayda, south Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;On Tuesday evening, me and five other schools principals submitted requests for exemption from continuing our administrative duties to the Suwayda Education Directorate, but they were rejected,&#8221; Talal al-Alami, 50, a pseudonym for a headmaster of a primary school in the city of Suwayda, told North Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The position of the school principal has become one of the tasks that most teachers refuse, due to the lack of financial capabilities of the Directorate of Education in Suwayda,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Alami pointed out that the schools only get a little stationery and papers, which puts the headmaster in the foreground to demand his school&#8217;s allowances, but without the government&#8217;s response, thus falling into embarrassment with the students&#8217; families,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A government official in the Suwayda Education Directorate told North Press, &#8220;35 schools principals have submitted exemptions from completing their duties since the beginning of this year, and most of them were rejected because of the lack of alternatives.&#8221; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Their request is morally justified, as the Directorate of Education in Suwayda suffers from a complete failure to provide material support to school administrations,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If their request are approved, the schools will fall into a great administrative vacuum, as they are unable to convince other teachers to become headmasters, according to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Suwayda Education Directorate had appealed to the Ministry of Education to provide material support, without receiving any response,&#8221; he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the beginning of the school year, Suwayda Education Directorate has received dozens of requests from schools principals for not pursuing their jobs as school headmasters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Sami al-Ali&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since the beginning of the school year, #Suwayda Education Directorate has received dozens of requests from schools principals for not pursuing their jobs as school headmasters. #Syria  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":56175,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[5,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-56174","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
