QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>On Thursday, Syrian political analyst Majid Ibrahim said that Nasr al-Hariri’s visit to the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq (KRG) “plays a role in disabling and complicating the intra-Kurdish dialogue and prolongs it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, a delegation of the Syrian National Coalition (SNC) headed by Nasr al-Hariri arrived in Erbil, the capital of KRG, in a formal visit which will last for three days.                                                              <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Informed sources indicated that the visit comes within the framework of the continued intervention of regional and international powers and neighboring countries in the Syrian issue.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The regional role and intervention exceeds narrow interests of the individuals,” Ibrahim told North Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This role was evident in the delegation’s visit to Erbil and its meeting with Masoud Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP),” he added.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The special presence of the SNC is to enhance its political role away from its internal conflicts, taking advantage of the failure of the Negotiation Committee,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe attempts to activate the role of the SNC at the expense of the presence of the Negotiation Committee is evident from the political rounds of the SNC in exchange for determining the political margin that the Negotiation Committee was doing,” according to Ibrahim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The visit comes within the framework of the SNC’s representation of Turkey with its continued occupation of Syrian regions like Afrin, Sere Kaniye, Tel Abyad, and Idlib through specific tools,” he pointed out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These tools are “the Syrian National Army, National Front for Liberation, which works directly with Turkey, and others like Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which work indirectly with Turkey,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Will the visit undermine intra-Kurdish relations in exchange for diplomatic ones with the SNC, especially as some regional powers want to downsize intra-Kurdish relations?” he wondered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
