{"id":53210,"date":"2021-01-19T16:43:37","date_gmt":"2021-01-19T16:43:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=53210"},"modified":"2021-01-19T16:43:38","modified_gmt":"2021-01-19T16:43:38","slug":"syrias-autonomous-administration-to-support-bakeries-amid-bread-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/53210\/","title":{"rendered":"Syria&#8217;s Autonomous Administration to support bakeries amid bread crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press)<\/strong> \u2013 An official of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria said that they would support bakeries to avoid a bread crisis in Qamishli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since January 14, the city of Qamishli has been witnessing a bread crisis amid large gatherings of people in front of bakeries to get their bread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salman Barudo, the co-chair of the Economic and Agricultural Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), said \u201cThe administration is currently supporting the catering bakeries, and will focus its support mainly on those bakeries during the coming period.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/53084\/\">Officials of AANES met with the owners of the subsidized bakeries<\/a> on Saturday in the city of Qamishli to resume their work after several days of a cutoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-wordpress alignright wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-north-press-agency\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"SyiiBPcLR6\"><a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/53084\/\">Syria&#8217;s AANES in Qamishli meets with bakeries&#8217; owners as bread crisis continues<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Syria&#8217;s AANES in Qamishli meets with bakeries&#8217; owners as bread crisis continues&#8221; &#8212; North press agency\" src=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/53084\/embed\/#?secret=yM7xywMYDa#?secret=SyiiBPcLR6\" data-secret=\"SyiiBPcLR6\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe suggested that we would provide wheat to the mills to secure flour for these bakeries at an appropriate price so that the price of bread does not rise again, because it is a basic material and we consider it a red line,\u201d Barudo added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A significant percentage of families buy bread from subsidized bakeries because of the low quality and quantity of bread produced by public bakeries.
