{"id":52964,"date":"2021-01-14T13:03:24","date_gmt":"2021-01-14T13:03:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=52964"},"modified":"2021-01-14T13:03:24","modified_gmt":"2021-01-14T13:03:24","slug":"israel-to-confront-irans-nuclear-threat-intensify-operations-in-syria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/52964\/","title":{"rendered":"Israel to confront Iran&#8217;s nuclear threat, intensify operations in Syria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RAMALLAH, Palestine (North Press)<\/strong> &#8211;&nbsp; On Thursday, the official Israeli radio <em>Makan<\/em> reported that in light of Tehran&#8217;s development of its nuclear program, Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli forces Aviv Kochavi has been tasked to prepare a military plan to confront this threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plan includes three different new ways of working to be presented at the political level during the imminent period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israeli political and security circles estimated that implementing this plan would require an increase in the Army Ministry&#8217;s budget by billions of shekels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an interview with <em>Israel Hayom<\/em> newspaper, to be published in its entirety tomorrow, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz stressed the need for Israel to have a military option regarding the possibility of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A confidential United Nations report obtained by the Wall Street Journal indicated that Iran had begun to build a uranium plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the report, about two years ago, Tehran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency that it intends to establish such a plant in the city of Isfahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A strategic researcher in Palestine stressed to North Press that the intense Israeli strikes in Syria come as part of its readiness for Democratic President Joe Biden to enter the White House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the researcher, there is an expectation from Israel that its operations in Syria will be limited during the Biden era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It has therefore anticipated this with major operations; this is because it is likely that Biden may try to set limits on the Israeli bombing, which prompted Israel to accelerate their strikes on Syria recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for the intended target of the Israeli bombing in Syria recently, the source indicated that the talk was about materials used for nuclear purposes, but not installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the source, these materials are not the problem, but the facilities themselves are.
