QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013<\/strong> Fener al-Ka’t, Deputy Co-Presidency of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES)said, on Thursday, that the area is witnessing a great open diplomacy by several countries due to their “exemplary experience” in achieving security and stability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an exclusive statement to North Press, al-Ka’t said that the area began to attract the attention of countries, including the European Union (EU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Delegations started heading towards north and east Syria to see the experience closely, and to contribute to the search for a solution to the Syrian crisis in general in the future.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There are many changes in the diplomatic field, as countries began to realize the reality in north and east Syria, as it represents a model that differs from the disasters took place in Syria,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There are continuous visits of official bodies and delegations of ministers and parliamentarians from several countries, and this, in itself, is a kind of recognition of the Autonomous Administration,” al-Ka’t noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the issue of international, legal or legitimate recognition needs an intra-Syrian dialogue, and the Autonomous Administration declares that it is ready for a dialogue that leads to a legitimate formula, according to al-Ka’t.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, several European delegations have recently postponed their visits to the Autonomous Administration regions due to the spread of coronavirus around the world, the closure of airports, and the implementation of preventative measures, according to the AANES Department of Foreign Relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In spite of that, al-Ka’t expressed his optimism “to find relations at a level befitting the Autonomous Administration and the solutions it is looking for to find a formula for security and peace for Syria in general.”  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, the Autonomous Administration received diplomatic delegations from EU<\/a> and Asia countries, including Belgium<\/a>, Uzbekistan<\/a>, Sweden<\/a>, Albania<\/a>, and Tajikistan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
