QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) managed to arrest an ISIS sleeper cell on Tuesday evening in the town of Tel Hammis near Qamishli north east Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SDF Special Unites conducted a security operation supported by the US-led Global Coalition air force near Qamishli, an SDF military source told North Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The military source added that during the operation, SDF arrested two ISIS members and confiscated their weapons and military equipment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combined Joint Task Force \u2013 Operation Inherent Resolve Spokesman Colonel Wayne Marotto stated in an exclusive interview with North Press<\/a> that the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS will stay in Syria to continue carrying out their mission to ensure the group\u2019s enduring defeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cThey are defeated territorially; they are resilient. We know they are still dangerous; they still pose a danger to Iraq and Syria and the rest of the world,\u201d said in a video interview with North Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
