{"id":49581,"date":"2020-11-10T17:21:16","date_gmt":"2020-11-10T17:21:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=49581"},"modified":"2020-11-10T17:21:17","modified_gmt":"2020-11-10T17:21:17","slug":"after-hama-and-idlib-turkish-army-withdrew-from-aleppo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/49581\/","title":{"rendered":"After Hama and Idlib, Turkish army withdrew from Aleppo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IDLIB, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>The Turkish army withdrew on Monday, from a besieged military point in Sheikh Aqil Mountain, west of Aleppo, after evacuating four other points in northwestern Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A source in National Front for Liberation (a Turkish-backed Syrian opposition Coalition) told North Press that 70 vehicles, including large trucks carrying military vehicles, left the fifth Turkish point in <a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/41824\/\">Sheikh Aqil Mountain<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source indicated that the Turkish leaving vehicles have settled in the Turkish point near the city of Darat Izza, west of Aleppo, and the evacuation process is still underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the fifth point that Turkey withdrew from in less than a month, after <a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/49507\/\">evacuating the points<\/a> of Morek, Sher Maghar, Ma&#8217;ar Hattat, and Qubtan al-Jabal in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On October 2017, Turkey began establishing military points in northwestern Syria after it reached an agreement with Russia to establish a de-escalation zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting by Bara&#8217;a al-Shami <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The #Turkish army withdrew from a besieged military point in Sheikh Aqil Mountain, west of #Aleppo, after evacuating four other points in northwestern #Syria. #SNA #HTS <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":49582,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[7,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-49581","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-military-developments","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
