{"id":49518,"date":"2020-11-09T15:28:33","date_gmt":"2020-11-09T15:28:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=49518"},"modified":"2020-11-09T15:28:33","modified_gmt":"2020-11-09T15:28:33","slug":"government-fuel-company-stops-distributing-industrial-grade-fuel-in-syria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/49518\/","title":{"rendered":"Government fuel company stops distributing industrial-grade fuel in Syria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) \u2013 <\/strong>An official source from a fuel company in the Syrian government said on Sunday that allocations of industrial fuel have stopped being distributed. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The owners of factories and generators must submit an application for industrial-grade fuel according to a statement published by the pro-government <em>al-Watan <\/em>newspaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The governor issued a decision to form a committee of representatives of eight sections including fuel, industry, finance, and catering, and it made an evaluation to set monthly fuel allocations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding hospitals, the committee would evaluate the needed allocations in each hospital, in both government and private hospitals in Damascus, and wrote a letter to the fuel company in this regard, the sources added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-wordpress alignleft wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-north-press-agency\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"5omuvKK8jz\"><a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/48542\/\">Syrian government doubles fuel prices amid shortage<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Syrian government doubles fuel prices amid shortage&#8221; &#8212; North press agency\" src=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/48542\/embed\/#?secret=2SacZ1agDC#?secret=5omuvKK8jz\" data-secret=\"5omuvKK8jz\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection issued a decision on October 19 in which it <a href=\"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/48542\/\">raised the price of industrial-grade and commercial-grade fuel<\/a> from 296 to 650 Syrian pounds (SYP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drivers in Damascus abstained from working in order to trade diesel, local sources told North Press.
