Cairo – North-Press Agency<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Muhammad Abu Zaid<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n On Wednesday, a source in the Libyan National Army said that dozens of members of the Turkish-backed groups in Libya (Syrians and non-Syrians) are killed every day as a result of Libyan National Army operations targeting them around the Libyan capital, Tripoli, reaching a daily death toll of 80.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A report obtained by North-Press from a special source in the Libyan National Army revealed the death toll among the ranks of armed insurgents pushed by Turkey to fight in Libya.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The report, called “Figures and Statistics of the Ottoman Invasion of Libya”, included leaders of the Syrian armed opposition, whose bodies were transported to Syria via Turkey in civilian aircraft.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The summary report, which carried brief outlines, answered the most frequently asked questions regarding foreign mercenaries in Libya, as it began by indicating that the number of foreign mercenary deaths in Syria exceeds a thousand, who were pushed by Turkey to fight in Libya.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The report also revealed that the past week witnessed a massive death toll, from what the report described, of foreign mercenaries, as more than 500 insurgents were killed during operations of the Libyan National Army which targeted Turkish-backed fighters, particularly in the area of Tripoli.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The report revealed the burial place of the bodies of the members who died during the operations, pointing out that the bodies of the leaders and known names were transported to Turkey on Libyan planes, and then on to Syria, while other lower-ranking fighters were buried in Libyan territory.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to the report, "Turkey continues to send its elements to Libya, and Turkish President Recep Erdogan sends more mercenaries almost daily to the Libyan territories using Libyan civilian aircraft."<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The report pointed to concerns about the spread of coronavirus in Libya, largely from Turkey.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The spokesman of the Libyan National Army, Major General Ahmed al-Mismari, announced the killing of the largest number to date of Syrian armed members whom Turkey had brought to battlefields in Libya, before the end of last week, in conjunction with the Libyan National Army’s strikes led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, and the response for the Turkish interventions and Ankara-backed militias.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Last Thursday, al-Mismari said in a statement reviewing the outcome of the last 72 hours of the death toll of the Syrian mercenaries that the total number of dead reached 103 in only three days, distributed as follows: 71 dead from the Second Corps, including 35 from the Sultan Murad, nine from al-Mutasim Brigade, 27 from al-Hamzat group, including the leader Abu Hasan al-Hindawi, and 32 from the members of the Third Legion, including eight from Jabhat al-Nusra, 13 from Failaq al-Majd, and 11 from the North Brigade.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n He revealed information available to them which stated that “the leaders of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army were told not to publish any obituaries for them, to prevent the establishment of condolence councils, and not to immediately inform their families, but rather space out the information and not to deliver two bodies in one village, but rather distribute them as one body for every village.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Cairo – North-Press Agency Muhammad Abu Zaid On Wednesday, a source in the Libyan National Army said that dozens of members of the Turkish-backed groups in Libya (Syrians and non-Syrians) are killed every day as a result of Libyan National Army operations targeting them around the Libyan capital, Tripoli, reaching a daily […]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":43603,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[8],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-43602","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-middle-east"],"yoast_head":"\n
