QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Crisis Management Team in Jazira Region announced a total lockdown in the region for 14 days starting Thursday.<\/p>\n

It excluded grocery shops, public and private bakeries, pharmacies, and hospitals, in addition to fuel stations, water tankers, food and medical transport vehicles, and humanitarian and relief organizations.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The decision also indicated that it will facilitate the passage of farmers and workers to fields and orchards, taking into account adherence to health measures throughout the lockdown.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It set specific hours for the opening of medical and dental clinics, laboratories, and radiologists, from eleven in the morning until three in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It also suspended the work of all Autonomous Administration institutions in the Jazira Region, with the exception of municipalities, electricity and water emergency committees, health clinics, fuel directorates, ovens, and media institutions, according to the decision of the Crisis Team.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Crisis Management Team announced last Wednesday a partial curfew on movement between cities and districts, and then imposed a total movement ban during the Eid al-Adha holiday.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The number of the coronavirus cases in the areas of the Autonomous Administration reached 30, after the announcing the recording of five confirmed cases in the city of Hasakah on Sunday.<\/p>\n
