DERIK, Syria ( North Press) – On Tuesday, the Kurdish Red Crescent installed two tents in front of its headquarters in the northeastern city of Derik, with the aim of isolating the patients who suffer from symptoms such as fever, as a preventive measure to combat the spread of coronavirus.<\/p>\n
\nThe administrator of the Kurdish Red Crescent in Derik, Ahmed Sheikhmous, told North Press that they put two tents in front of the clinic of the in Derik to sort out patients who are reviewed by their medical staff, in order to determine whether they have chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or bronchitis, or if they show symptoms of infection with the virus.<\/p>\n
\nSheikhmous explained that patients suffering from cough and high temperature are isolated so that they do not mix with the rest of the patients until they are sure of their health conditions.<\/p>\n
\nThe Autonomous Administration announced in late July a case of coronavirus in the Derik region, and the administration announced on Sunday, five new cases of coronavirus infection in the city of Hasakah, raising the number to 30 cases.<\/p>\n
