{"id":39151,"date":"2020-04-08T11:33:51","date_gmt":"2020-04-08T11:33:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=39151"},"modified":"2020-04-08T11:33:51","modified_gmt":"2020-04-08T11:33:51","slug":"Turkish shelling wounds child in northern Aleppo countryside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/39151\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkish shelling wounds child in northern Aleppo countryside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Northern Aleppo &ndash; North-Press Agency<br \/>\nDejla Khalil<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">On Wednesday, an IDP child from Afrin was lightly wounded after Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition groups targeted the village of Tal Qarah in the northern countryside of Aleppo with artillery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\nThe child Mohamed Amin, who sustained light injuries to the face, was transferred from the village of Khaltan in the district of JendiresJindires in Afrin to Afrin Hospital in the village of Fafin in northern Aleppo countryside, where he was given medical aid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\nThis morning, Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition groups targeted the village of Tal Qarah and the vicinity of Um al-Hosh village with more than 10 shells.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">For the past two years, the Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition groups have been targeting the areas of northern Aleppo countryside, where IDPs from the Afrin region reside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">On December 2nd, Turkish forces committed a massacre in the town of Tal Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo which resulted in ten casualties, including eight children, and the wounding of 13 others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Turkish forces continue to bomb several areas in northern Syria and in the northern countryside of Aleppo, ignoring international calls for a ceasefire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\nThe Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, launched an appeal on the 24th of last month for an immediate cease-fire all over the world to protect the most vulnerable civilians in countries of conflict, with the spread of the novel coronavirus epidemic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Northern Aleppo &ndash; North-Press Agency Dejla Khalil &nbsp; On Wednesday, an IDP child from Afrin was lightly wounded after Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition groups targeted the village of Tal Qarah in the northern countryside of Aleppo with artillery.
