International organizations distribute flour to refugees in the "Bardrarash" camp in Kurdistan region of Iraq, instead of bread, except for Barzani Charitable Foundation, which distributes a bag of bread for each family, which prompted the refugees to make bread in many ways.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

"I make bread every day with using Tannour(a clay bakery) in the middle of the camp," Nadia Mahmoud, a  refugee in the camp told North-Press.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are two "clay bakery " made for making bread in the camp, and dating back to the years when Mosul IDPs were residing in the same camp, as now  used by new refugees from Ras Al-Ain (Sere-Kanite) area.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Traders bring bread bags from outside the camp, and sell them to refugees in the camp at a price of 500 Iraqi dinars per bag of bread, as each bag contains seven small loaves. Since buying bread weighs heavily on refugees, some of them are forced to make bread in their own way.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The organizations distribute at the beginning of each month an amount of 30 kilograms of flour, placed in two bags for each refugee family, while the camp lacks a bread bakery, and refugees are prohibited from leaving the camp to bring bread without permission from the camp administration and for limited hours.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Adla Khalil, a refugee in Bardarash camp, says to North-Press: "It is unfair to distribute flour in the same amount to big and small families, because 30 kilograms of flour is not enough for a big family for a month."<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Moreover, refugee Dalal Abdal told North-Press: "The electric oven may cause problems such as burning the electrical outlet and causing a fire." And this's why part of the refugees in the camp tends to use traditional ways in baking to secure bread.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

More than 11,000 refugees reside in Baradrash camp, who were forced to  displace from the areas of Turkish army military operations in northern Syria, while the refugees suffer the difficulty of securing bread.<\/p>\n
