While public and official reactions continue to be against the decision and the threats.<\/p>\n<p>The Civil Administration of Manbij in northern Syria confirmed to North-Press via the co-chair of the city&#8217;s legislative council, Muhammad Ali al-Abbo that the withdrawal of the U.S. troops in the bordering areas has complicated the scene and made it more blurry, and that the Autonomous Administration of northeast Syria is in constant contact with the Global Coalition.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Abbo added that any interference from the Turkish army in any inch of northern Syria is an occupation. \u201cWe, as the Syrian people, consider any Turkish aggression an occupation, and we have all the legitimate rights according to international laws to defend ourselves,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. decision to withdraw came after a telephone call between Turkish President Erdogan and U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday evening. Meanwhile, the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij and its countryside called on the people of north and eastern Syria, including Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen and Circassians to join the forces and stand with them to defend the region.<br \/>This came in a statement published on Monday by the Civil Administration in Manbij, in which it confirmed its readiness to repel any Turkish assault targeting areas of northeastern Syria, noting; &#8220;The U.S. forces did not abide by the pledges made to establish peace and security in our areas&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The statement of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij indicated that they have taken all actions and commitments to establish a mechanism to ensure borders security with Turkey, and to reject any military escalation with it.<br \/>While military sources confirmed to North-Press that the Russian forces headed to Manbij, east of Aleppo on Sunday and entered two villages, threatening the U.S. forces to enter to west of Manbij.<br \/>The sources indicated that Russian forces met with U.S. forces in the village of al-Mohsenli to evacuate the village.<\/p>\n<p>North-Press reporter in Aleppo indicated there were military movements by the Syrian government forces towards Manbij, without specifying what the movements would be, or what their role would be in the eastern Aleppo countryside.<\/p>\n<p>The SDF&#8217;s Coordination and Military Operations Center announced that the Syrian government forces backed by the Russian forces are preparing to move militarily towards the city of Manbij, considering this one of the first results of the failure of the security mechanism agreement.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manbij &#8211; North-Press Agency The effects of Washington&#8217;s decision to withdraw its troops from northeastern Syria continue to coincide with the Turkish threats to launch a military assault against the region.
