{"id":37942,"date":"2019-09-19T13:48:07","date_gmt":"2019-09-19T13:48:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/?p=37942"},"modified":"2019-09-19T13:48:07","modified_gmt":"2019-09-19T13:48:07","slug":"Equipping a medical center to treat cancer patients in Qamishli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npasyria.com\/en\/37942\/","title":{"rendered":"Equipping a medical center to treat cancer patients in Qamishli"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"justify\"><b>Qamishli\u2013 North-Press Agency<\/b><br \/><b>Ibrahim Ibrahimi<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration in al-Jazira region (an administrative division comprising Hasakah and Qamishli) is preparing a medical center for treating cancer patients in the city of Qamishli.<br \/>&#8220;Cancer patients will be treated at the center as therapeutic doses will be administered by the Health Authority,&#8221; the co-chairperson of&nbsp; Health Authority in al-Jazira region Dr. Manal Muhammad told North-Press in an exclusive statement, pointing out that &#8220;patients should be diagnosed at private medical clinics first, as they will be undergoing treatment at the center\u201d.<br \/>Regarding the process of equipping the center, in terms of meeting the needs of cancer patients, Dr. Muhammed explained that the center will include the ward of ambulance, X-ray and nursing, noting that the center will provide the necessary medicine for cancer patients according to its capabilities.<br \/>Regarding the capacity of the center and the possibilities of treatment, the co-chairman of the Health Authority Dr. Manal Muhammad said that the center &#8220;will receive patients from al-Jazira region as well as all areas of northeastern Syria\u201d, noting that the cost of the center &#8220;was about 100 thousand euros, about 193 thousand dollars\u201d.<br \/>According to the co-chairman of the Health Authority, the center aims to &#8220;reduce costs burden of cancer patients\u201d, where the treatment will be &#8220;at an affordable price\u201d. <br \/>It is worth mentioning that cancer patients in north and eastern of Syria are treated in Damascus, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, bearing the high costs of periodical travel.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Qamishli\u2013 North-Press AgencyIbrahim Ibrahimi The Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration in al-Jazira region (an administrative division comprising Hasakah and Qamishli) is preparing a medical center for treating cancer patients in the city of Qamishli.&#8220;Cancer patients will be treated at the center as therapeutic doses will be administered by the Health Authority,&#8221; the co-chairperson of&nbsp; [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":37943,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pgc_sgb_lightbox_settings":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[5,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-37942","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","category-syria"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
